At just 11 years old, after experiencing the pain of being bullied, Aedyn made a courageous decision — he wanted to turn his struggle into strength and help others who were hurting. With the support of his family, and his mom Karen by his side, he founded Aedyn’s Backpack Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on kindness, compassion, and hope. Today, the organization is dedicated to standing with victims and survivors of bullying and abuse, making sure no one feels alone in their fight to heal.

Talk with your child
Don’t brush it off — listen with love. Show them you believe them, and that they don’t have to face this alone.
Team up with the school
Teachers and administrators can be powerful allies. Reach out early so your child knows the adults are working together for them.
Encourage peaceful solutions
Model kindness and calm. Remind your child that strength isn’t about fighting back — it’s about choosing better ways forward.
Empathize with your child
Let them know it’s not their fault. Celebrate their courage for opening up to you.
Find solutions together
Ask your child what they think could help. Problem-solving as a team builds their confidence and trust.
Involve law enforcement if needed
If the behavior becomes criminal or dangerous, don’t hesitate to take it seriously and get help from authorities.
Stay persistent
If the bullying doesn’t stop, keep pushing for answers. Your persistence shows your child they are worth fighting for.
Speak up
Tell your parents, teachers, or a trusted adult right away. You don’t have to handle it alone.
Choose peace
Fighting back may only make things worse. Real strength comes from finding safer solutions.
Use your voice
If you feel safe, ask the bully to stop. Sometimes standing tall and calm can make a difference.
Write it down
Keep a record of what happened — who, where, when, and if anyone saw it. This helps adults take action.
Find your team
Whether it’s friends, family, teachers, or community members, surround yourself with people who support you.
Talk it out
Sharing your feelings with a counselor or trusted adult can help lighten the weight you’re carrying.
Stand for others
If you see someone else being bullied, don’t stay silent. Tell a teacher or adult right away.
Remember this
Bullying is never your fault. You deserve kindness, respect, and safety — always.

We believe every act of kindness creates a ripple. Aedyn’s Backpack Club exists to support victims of bullying and abuse, empower survivors, and inspire communities to stand together — proving that love always wins.
When you give, you’re not just donating — you’re creating ripples of kindness that spread through our community. Every single dollar helps a child feel seen, supported, and safe.
Don’t just watch the ripple — be the ripple. When you volunteer with Aedyn’s Backpack Club, you help spread kindness, heal hearts, and stand with kids who need it most. Whether it’s a few hours a month or a few hours a week, your time creates hope.
Change doesn’t happen alone — it happens when we come together. Our events bring people of all ages into the ripple of kindness through fundraisers, outreach, and educational programs. Join us at our next gathering and be part of the movement.
